Each participant will receive a Registration number by email after the submission of the Online Registration Form. As for payments completed by bank transfer, please proceed with the payment only after receiving your Registration number. Please do not send any payment by bank transfer without the Registration number and participant’s name included in the payment details.
Please note the live version of the Congress will conclude on 30 June 2021. However online registration will be available until 2 September 2021 for delegates interested in accessing the recorded version of the Congress.

*The qualifying period for a Newly Qualified Midwife is up to 5 years after qualification at the time of registration. Payment and a copy of the certification document including date of qualification will need to be provided at the time of registration. ***A Student Midwife is defined as a person pursuing a recognized programme of study leading to a qualification as a midwife, approved by the regulatory authority in the country, in line with the ICM definition of a midwife. The name of the training institution or college attended is required with the stage of study. Proof of student midwife status will be required at the time of registration.
Each participant will receive a registration overview and an email notification confirming the received payment and the amount outstanding after the completion of the Online Registration Form.
Group registrations can be processed online. Kindly use “Add Participant“ button after registering first participant in the online portal.
When registering more than one person under one company identity/invoice, please contact the Secretariat to determine the preferred invoicing setting.
All fees need to be paid in United States Dollars (USD), free of all bank charges. Please note that all bank charges need to be covered by the delegate.

Payment by bank transfer is possible until 10 May 2021. After this date, all payments can be done only by credit/debit card.

Bank transfer payment needs to be identified by the registration number and participant’s full name included in the payment details.
Online Payment by Credit/Debit Card
In case of rejected online credit/debit card payment, the delegate is recommended to log into the Online Registration Form and try to process the registration and the payment again. Should the trouble with the payment persists, the participant is advised to contact the credit/debit card issuer/bank first and check if online transactions are not disabled on the credit/debit card. Afterwards, the registration can be processed again.

The final invoice will be available for download from 32nd ICM Virtual Triennial Congress Online Registration Portal within 20 days after payment.
The final invoice will be issued based on details provided while registering (step Contact/Invoice details). Any change of such details (address, VAT number etc.) is possible only within 3 days from the registering date and is subject to a 30 USD fee.
Cancellation Policy for Registration transferred from 32nd ICM Triennial Congress in Bali 2021
For those who transferred Registration from 32nd ICM Triennial Congress in Bali 2021 to the 32nd ICM Virtual Triennial Congress following cancellation policy will apply:
– The cancellation requests will be accepted from 9 December 2020.
– The deadline for cancellation is 3 February 2021.
– Requests for refunds made after 3 February 2021 will not be considered.
Note: Once you confirm your Virtual Registration, your Registration fee is non-refundable.
Cancellation for a New Registration
Until 1 April 2021 – 50 % of the fee will be refunded.
From 2 April 2021 no refund can be processed.
General Cancellation Conditions
All cancellations must be notified in writing (by email or by fax) to C-IN and cannot be done online or over the phone.
Any change of such details (address, VAT number, different invoice payer etc.) is possible only within 10 days from the registering date and is subject to the 30 USD fee.
All deadlines are applicable considering the local time (CET/CEST).
Cancellation or Modification of the Congress due to Force Majeur
In the event of a force majeure situation, ICM without prior notice, has the right to alter or cancel the congress. Any occurrence would be communicated as soon as reasonably possible from the decision time. Force majeure includes any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of ICM which prevents or impedes the realisation of the congress. This includes but is not limited to, government action, war or hostilities, riot or civil commotion, plague or other epidemic such as SARS, bird flu, earthquake, flood, hurricane, cyclone, fire or other natural physical disaster, explosion, accident or breakdown, strike, lack of the usual means of transportation or terrorism. ICM shall not be liable for any direct or indirect, incidental or consequential damages, losses, expenditures or any other inconveniences or costs caused by such modification or cancellation of the congress. Furthermore, registration fees will be reimbursed in accordance to the ICM cancellation policy.
Registration fee does not include participant’s insurance against accidents, sickness, cancellation, theft, property damage or loss. Participants are advised to take out adequate personal insurance.
